The research centre at Monilek Hospital has achieved international repute in cardiovascular epidemiology the treatment of kidney diseases. More than 200 publications from this hospital stand a mute testimony to the immense effort put up by the team of doctors and researchers. There are ongoing collaborations with Rajasthan University (Jaipur), St. John's Medical College (Bangalore), McMaster University (Canada), University of California (USA) and University of Marseilles (France).

Dr. Rajeev gupta, cardiologist heads the Department of Research where projects of international repute in cardiovascular epidemiology research programme have been successfully carried out. Studies involving rural and urban population and the diseases affecting them are carried out as well as clinical study on stroke and its management is in progress too.
